Property Managers and Odor Problems

We are told that you never think about a doctor until you need one. And, who do you call when something sticks or is making people sick in one of your properties? When we have odor problems, property managers will send in a cleaning crew, clean the carpets, and put a new coat of paint on the wall. But, I have found that that isn’t always enough.

When there is a heavy smoking smell, bad pet odors, odd cooking odors, or even the marijuana smell; I call OMG Sanitized to solve the problem before we clean the carpets or certainly before we paint. Destroying the odors at the source is much better than covering them over … only to see them return later. In my area, I call Aaron at OMG Sanitizing to take care of all my “Mystery Issues”, and the results are fantastic. Aaron has been in the business for a decade, and he is a graduate of the National Oxidative Association. So, he’s trained and certified by the leading odor and IAQ organization in the country.

When I talk to my counterparts in the property management or facilities management industry, they don’t have someone as skilled as Aaron. So, I tell them to get your cleaning service, carpet cleaner, or painting company to go through the training and certification process. They are just the best.

Everyone I know has had their share of bad-smelling properties; and if you don’t solve the issue correctly, the next tenant will be unhappy. And that makes my work much more difficult.
Even my friends in the real estate business have trouble with the odors, mold, and that “Lived In” smell that is very hard to eliminate. So, if you are thinking about expanding your service business, get started with the National Oxidative Association. www.NOAI.org
